Santa Fe Institute Consortium: Increasing Human Potential
During the period October/November 2001 LDI has been involved in the review of the research proposal on "Increasing Human Potential" of the Santa Fe Institute Consortium.
The proposed research is largely focused on early learning, both neurophysiological aspects and cognitive, social, and emotional skills, including empathy, altruism, and theory of mind. The outcomes of the proposed research are thought to be of significant import for policy making in the area of promoting and facilitating human learning. The Santa Fe Institute Consortium involves people who are among the best in the field.
